Covered Redwood Deck with Custom Wood and Cable Railing
Our customer wanted to build a custom Redwood deck that would provide a covered entertaining area and still have an area open to the sunlight. Working together, DBS and the homeowner decided on a vaulted roof cover with a tongue and groove pine ceiling featuring recessed lighting. The customer had designed a railing system that implemented horizontal stainless steel cables and redwood posts. DBS was able to incorporate that specific design into the deck build. We also installed two, six-foot-wide closed staircases, one at each end of the deck, for easy access to the backyard. Building this custom designed deck allowed our customer to extend their living space in comfort.
