Two Elevated Composite Decks Create Outdoor Oasis with Fantastic Views

Our clients reached out to us to remove their two wood decks and replace them with new, modern, elevated composite decks, aiming to create the outdoor oasis of their dreams.  The decks overlook the stunning mountains west of Colorado Springs, and maximizing enjoyment of that view in a relaxing atmosphere was their top priority.

Together, we designed a larger lower deck to provide the owners with the outdoor living space the desired for relaxation and entertaining.  After considering the available options, they chose Fiberon Sanctuary Moringa decking, featuring a double picture frame border in Fiberon Sanctuary Espresso.  The railing system selected was a Fortress Fe26 Traditional, complete with a drink cap in Moringa and a gate at the top of the stairs on the lower deck.  We also installed HPD Philuminator Clear Creek LED lights on the railing posts.

1 – Our clients wanted to remove and replace the existing wooden decks on their home.

3 – In order to disrupt their fantastic view as little as possible, our clients selected the Fortress Fe26 Traditional steel deck railing with a flush drink cap.

6 – When designing the new decks, one of our clients’ top priorities was taking full advantage of this amazing view!

7 – Our clients have created multiple seating areas to just relax and enjoy the Colorado Springs scenery.

8 – The upper deck is built to not interfere with the views or enjoyment of the lower deck.

9 – They selected outdoor furniture that not only complements the new decks, but is very comfortable for relaxing.
