Custom Hardwood Decks in Colorado Springs

Before 1 - The homeowners decided to do a full house remodel. This redwood deck was to be removed and replaced.
After 1 - The owners decided to build their new deck with Cumaru hardwood for the decking and a ViewRail Onyx railing system.
Before 2 - Our customer purchased a home with this dated concrete patio in the back yard. She wanted to create a beautiful spot for entertaining outside.
After 2 - DBS built this gorgeous Cumaru hardwood deck with wraparound stair in place of the concrete patio. We installed Genesis step lights on the stair riser, for lighting at night.
2 - This custom hardwood deck was built using Tiger Wood with a wood and metal railing.
3 - This is a custom-designed hardwood deck built with Cumaru wood. We also added a snow fence railing that is anchored by stucco columns on one side of the deck.

12 - DBS built this custom hardwood deck using Massaranduba, also known as Brazilian Redwood. Massaranduba is a hard, heavy wood that is very resistant to decay and termites. In addition, we added a railing system using wood posts and metal rail panels.
13 - The Massaranduba hardwood deck also features a custom deck cover built with a tongue and groove, knotty pine ceiling.
14 - This beautiful custom designed deck is built from Tiger Wood, a Brazilian hardwood unique for its coloring.
15 - We built a staircase with 90 landing for the elevated Tiger Wood deck. The step treads, landing, and drink cap on the railing are all in Tiger Wood. The railing is white stained wood with round metal balusters in matte black.
16 - Tiger Wood is unlike other hardwoods because of its coloring. Here you can clearly see the many shade variations and how it adds a unique flair to the deck.
17 - This gorgeous, custom-designed deck was built with Tigerwood. DBS also installed an outdoor cooking area that includes a custom backsplash created to mimic the Colorado mountains.
18 - Here is another deck built using Tiger Wood. It has a wood railing with round metal balusters and a drink cap.
19 - This hardwood deck was built using Ipe, a Brazilian hardwood that is naturally mold, pest, and water-resistant. We also added a snow fence railing and a custom-made bench.
20 - This deck was built from a hardwood known as Cumaru, also known as Brazilian Teak. We laid the boards at 90 degrees to the joists, and the railing is a Redwood snow fence design.
