Amazing Outdoor Living Space with Privacy Screen

When these homeowners approached us to upgrade their outdoor living space, they had a general vision in mind.  Together, we designed a 384 SF composite deck that is topped with a Cedar pergola.  The homeowners chose Deckorators Vista Dunewood for the main decking and Ironwood for the dividing and end boards.  We finished it off with Miratec fascia stained to match the house trim.

For the railing, we installed Fortress Fe26 Traditional powder-coated steel panels with 3″ posts, and four of the flat pyramid post caps are equipped with lights for nighttime ambiance and safety.

The Cedar pergola was constructed using 6″ x 6″ support posts, 2″ x 10″ framing, and traditionally cut rafter ends.  It has also been stained in a solid-body color to match the house trim.

To enhance their outdoor living experience, we added a drop-down sunshade at one of the deck, providing privacy while entertaining friends and family in this beautiful new space!
