Custom Deck Design and Build

Decks by Schmillen works with you to establish a target budget for your custom deck project.  We will the work design your new deck to fit within your budget requirements.

When you work with Decks by Schmillen to design and build your new custom deck or outdoor living space, your experience will include the following:

 

Consultation and Planning

  • We listen to your needs and ideas.
  • We can show you many creative ideas and different options available for your deck that will compliment your home.
  • We evaluate your project to find functional, elegant, and cost-effective solutions.

 

Design and Contract

  • We will create the custom design for your deck to scale showing a detailed project plan.
  • We will prepare a written contract, spelling out of our obligations to you.
  • We will discuss the necessary project and site preparations.

 

Permitting and Construction

  • DBS will check with city and/or county development review for zoning requirements.
  • We will prepare the permit submittal and obtain the permit.
  • We will keep you, the customer, involved in all aspects of construction, which is Decks by Schmillen’s top priority.
  • We are a licensed and insured deck builder.
