Custom Deck Stairs

Just as with decks, stairs come in many shapes and sizes for something that seems so simple and generic, there are many options to be taken into consideration when deciding on the design.
Do you want the stairs to go straight to the ground, or would you like to add a landing?
For high traffic stairways, you can make the stairway wider for safety and ease of accessibility.
Would you like an open or closed riser?
Adding lights can not only make the stairs safer at night, they also add a beautiful visual element.
Also, if you have an elevated deck with an additional entertainment area below, stairs can make the lower area much more inviting.

36 - Because this is a low deck, the customer opted to build one composite, wrap around step.

IN PROGRESS 3 - This is the final product! Composite step treads, black metal railing with handrail, and step lights on every other step.
