Beautiful B-Grade Redwood Deck in the Forest

This near-knotless B-grade Redwood deck provides a natural setting that enhances life among the pines.  Among the many unique features is a tri-corner, rough-sawn Cedar arbor that adds an interesting architectural element to the deck.  The Redwood snow fence railing with round metal balusters meets form and function by providing a polished look, yet also allowing for easy snow removal.  DBS also installed a Redwood drink cap along the top of the railing.  The homeowner was concerned about wildlife nesting under the deck so we installed a lattice system around the perimeter and added a door on one side to allow the customer access.  We also added a built-in dry space for wood storage, thereby utilizing some of the dead space under the deck.
